Odin Sphere Leifthrasir is available today for PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. The title features many new additions including cross-save.
Today, ATLUS has released Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. The title is available both retail and digitally via the PlayStation Store.
Odin Sphere was a drama-focused, 2D action RPG originally released in 2007 for the PlayStation 2 and developed by Vanillaware. The story begins when a young girl, Alice, finds a novel titled "Valkyrie" and starts reading. The game features a narrative intertwining the lives of 5 protagonists and the world of Erion.
Eventually, order among the worlds' nations crumble over whom can obtain the all-powerful Cauldron. Whomever wields its power will control the world. The heroes of the game discover separately that each nation is willing to capture it by any means necessary.
The remake has improved upon the original title with a number of new features. Leifthrasir has higher resolution visuals and runs at 60 frames per second. Players will now have full control of their character's growth in both skills and ability. Cross-Save capability is also available among each console as well. These are only a few of the many additions the game has received.
Newcomers and fans of the original can experience Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir today.
